The GEALAN-LINEAR® is the system that has impressed us most from this brand. Its angular, straight-line design moves away from classic rounded PVC and visually approaches modern aluminium. When you see it fitted on a contemporary facade, it's hard to believe it's PVC.
Available with flush sash — an option where the frame and sash create a continuous flat surface with only a narrow joint visible. An architectural finish that few PVC brands offer and which in aluminium would cost significantly more.
The IKD® technology (Integrated Thermal Bridge Protection) acts on the geometry of the profile to structurally reduce thermal bridges — not with foams or fillers, but by redesigning the profile cross-section. The result is a Uf of 1.0 W/m²K with just 74 mm depth.

For renovation or refurbishment projects where good insulation is sought without the cost of premium systems, the S 8000 is a very solid option.

IKD®: thermal insulation of a new generation
IKD® technology (Integrated Thermal Bridge Protection) is perhaps Gealan's most interesting innovation. Unlike the traditional method of improving insulation by adding foams to the profile chambers, IKD® acts on the very geometry of the profile.
The result is a Uf of 1.0 W/m²K with 74 mm depth — a value that many 76 mm systems do not achieve. The additional advantage is that since it does not rely on foams or fillers, there is no risk of insulation degradation over time.
STV®: glazing up to 50 mm without adaptations
The STV® system (Static Glazing Technology) allows installation of glazing up to 50 mm directly in the profile rebate, without additional seals or adapters.
With other manufacturers, 50 mm glazing requires special modifications that add cost and may compromise sealing. With Gealan, it is standard as series.
GEALAN-acrylcolor®: the finish that cannot peel off
The GEALAN-acrylcolor® system is a surface finish that is integrated into the profile during extrusion, not a subsequent laminate. The difference is fundamental: while an adhesive laminate may over the years lift edges, yellow or scratch easily, acrylcolor is an intrinsic part of the profile.

In design, the LINEAR has the advantage: it is the PVC profile with the most angular and modern aesthetic on the market, visually comparable to aluminium. Veka offers SPECTRAL ultra-matte finishes and Kömmerling the Full Cover laminate — in surface finishes, both German brands offer more variety.
