Custom shutters with fixed louvre, adjustable louvre and wood-effect finishes
We manufacture and install louvred shutters and solid shutters in aluminium and PVC throughout the province of Girona. Over 25 years of experience with first-class materials and finishes.
Louvred shutters are external shutters formed by a frame with horizontal louvres, either fixed or adjustable (tilting). They are installed on the outside of the window and allow you to regulate the entry of light and air while maintaining privacy and security.
Solid shutters are panelled shutters without louvres, with a more rustic and traditional look. They offer maximum sun protection, total privacy and superior thermal and acoustic insulation. Both products are manufactured in aluminium and PVC, materials that require none of the maintenance of traditional wood.
The louvres are welded to the frame at a fixed angle (usually 45°). They provide constant ventilation and permanent sun protection. They are more affordable, more robust and require less maintenance. Ideal for façades where light regulation is not needed.
The louvres rotate on their axis, allowing you to individually regulate the entry of light and air. They offer greater versatility: fully open for maximum ventilation, partially closed for soft light, or fully closed for total darkness. More expensive but much more functional.
Our aluminium louvred shutters and solid shutters are available in wood-effect finishes (oak, walnut, cherry, iroko...) that faithfully replicate the appearance of natural wood without any of its drawbacks: no painting, no warping, no rotting.
We also offer lacquering in any RAL colour, textured finishes and the option of two-tone (one colour inside, another outside). All finishes are weather-resistant and require no maintenance.
Oak effect
The most popular finish. Warm tones that blend with the traditional architecture of the Costa Brava and Empordà.
Walnut effect
Dark and elegant tone, ideal for stone façades and Catalan farmhouses.
Custom RAL lacquer
Any colour from the RAL chart. White, anthracite grey, dark green and black are the most requested colours.
Two-tone
Interior in white or light colour, exterior in wood effect or façade colour. Combines aesthetics from both inside and outside.
The classic opening: one or two leaves that open outwards. Airtight closure with multi-point locking for maximum security. The most common option for windows and balcony doors.
The leaves slide on rails parallel to the façade. Perfect for large terrace doors or limited space where hinged leaves would obstruct the passage.
Three or more leaves that fold concertina-style to one side. Ideal for large openings where full opening of the space is desired. Combine aesthetics with maximum functionality.
Solid shutters are panelled shutters without louvres, with a rustic and traditional appearance. They offer total darkness, complete insulation and maximum protection. Ideal for bedrooms and ground-floor rooms.
They are particularly popular in farmhouses, village houses and rustic properties in the Baix Empordà, where the aesthetic of the traditional wooden shutter is sought with the durability and zero maintenance of aluminium.
Exterior solid shutter
Solid panel with decorative mouldings or routings. Satin, engraved or wood-effect finishes. Multi-point closure for maximum security.
Interior solid shutter
Typical of Mediterranean architecture. Opens and closes from inside. Protects from sun and provides total darkness for sleeping. Perfect complement to PVC or aluminium windows.
The most versatile material. Resistant, lightweight, available in any finish (wood effect, RAL, two-tone). With thermal break (RPT) it offers excellent insulation. The most recommended option for the Costa Brava due to its salt and corrosion resistance.
Excellent thermal insulation without the need for RPT (PVC does not conduct heat). Very resistant to humidity and salt spray. White or limited colours. Ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and rooms requiring maximum insulation.

The farmhouses, village houses and rustic properties in the province of Girona traditionally used solid wooden shutters. Over time, wood deteriorates — it warps, cracks, requires constant painting — and many owners are replacing them with aluminium or PVC shutters with wood-effect finish.
For rustic houses we especially recommend wood-effect aluminium solid shutters (oak or walnut). They faithfully replicate the traditional appearance and, unlike wood, require no maintenance and last decades without losing their colour or shape.
Villages like Begur, Peratallada, Pals, Ullastret and Monells have regulations that require shutters that respect the traditional aesthetics. Our wood-effect aluminium shutters meet these regulations and have been approved in numerous projects.

The louvred shutter has horizontal louvres (fixed or adjustable) that allow light and air regulation. The solid shutter is a solid panel without louvres that provides total darkness and maximum insulation. Both are manufactured in aluminium and PVC.
It depends on the use. The fixed louvre is more affordable, robust and requires less maintenance. The adjustable louvre allows you to regulate light and ventilation precisely. For bedrooms and living rooms, adjustable is the best option.
Yes. Current wood-effect foil finishes (oak, walnut, cherry, iroko) faithfully replicate the grain and colour of natural wood. From a metre away they are virtually indistinguishable from real wood, but they require no painting or maintenance.
A standard aluminium louvred shutter (120×120 cm, fixed louvre, standard white colour) starts from about €250 installed. With wood-effect finish and adjustable louvre, the price rises to €400–600 per unit. Solid shutters are slightly cheaper.
Yes. For balcony doors and terraces we recommend sliding or folding shutters that do not require space to open outwards. They are available in all materials and finishes.
Yes. Lacquered aluminium is highly resistant to corrosion and sea salt. It is the most recommended material for coastal homes. The lacquered finish protects the metal and maintains its colour for decades.
Usually not. Installation is carried out on the window frame or directly on the wall with brackets. In most cases, no structural work is needed. A standard window installation takes 1–2 hours.
Yes. Motorised shutters allow you to open and close the leaves with a remote control or smartphone app. Ideal for high or hard-to-reach windows. The motor is installed inside the frame without modifying the external appearance.
